One injured in 2-vehicle crash at KY 509, Louisville Road intersection

Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, 1:40 a.m. — Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle injury accident at the intersection of KY 509 and the Louisville Road. The accident closed the roadway for about 30 minutes as the vehicle were removed from the scene. A 22-year-old woman who was the driver of one of the vehicles was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of a headache, sore neck and right lower quadrant pain. A second individual involved in the accident refused transport by EMS. The accident happend just before 1 a.m. Friday morning.
