Sara Pash Doyle, 94, Louisville

Sara Pash Doyle, 94, Louisville, formerly of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, at Meadowview Health and Rehab Center in Louisville.

She was born Aug. 5, 1917, in Nelson County. She was a lifelong homemaker, a former bookkeeper for Dr. Keith Crume, and a member of Bardstown Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Earl Layton “Jack” Doyle, Sr.; four brothers, John Pash, Phillip Pash, Clifford Pash and Carl Pash; and one sister, Louise Pash.

Survivors include one son, BG (R) Earl L. “Jack” (Rikki) Doyle of Bradenton, Fla.; two daughters, Brenda (Sam) Devine of Frankfort and Betty Doyle of Louisville; two grandchildren, Tracy (Mike) VanSowl of Houston, Texas and Michael (Laurie) Doyle of Louisville; and five great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen with a memorial service to be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at Bardstown Baptist Church.
