Louisville men indicted for thefts at Franklin Family dealership
Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, 8 p.m. — Two Louisville men were indicted Wednesday for thefts of a truck, rims and tires from Franklin Family Chevrolet in Bardstown.
Christopher T. Byrd, and Michael Casey Pugh were indicted by a Nelson County grand jury on charges that included the alleged theft of a 2007 Toyota Tacoma truck and eight rims and tires removed from vehicles on the Franklin Family Chevrolet dealership lot.
Citing a previous felony conviction, the indictment charged Pugh with being a persistent felony offender in the second-degree.
The pair were arrested on the evening of Oct. 29, 2011, after police received a report of suspicious activity by individuals on the dealership lot.
Bail for both men was set at $20,000 each, cash only, plus conditions. The men will be arraigned in Nelson Circuit Court on Dec. 8, 2011.
