Driver taken to hospital after hitting several cars in Bardstown
Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, 11:15 a.m. — The Bardstown Police Department and Nelson County EMS responded to a call to assist a driver who hit several cars while driving and was involved in a head-on collision on West Stephen Foster in downtown Bardstown. After the head-on collision, the driver continued on North Fourth Street and was stopped by police near the St. Vincent de Paul Store. The driver, described as a man in his 50s, was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital. Officers investigating the incident believe a medical condition may be responsible for the man’s erratic driving. The incident happened about 10:30 Friday morning.
