David Stafford Greenwell, Sr., 72, Bardstown
David Stafford Greenwell, Sr., 72, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at his home. He was born Oct. 18, 1939, inFairfieldand was retired from Mercer Stone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Greenwell; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two sons, David Greenwell, Jr., of Bardstown, and Scott Greenwell of Louisville; three daughters, Stephanie Caudill of Hazard, Vickie Festervan of St. Louis, Mo., and Dedra Greenwell of Brandenburg; three brothers, Jackie Greenwell and Billy Ray Greenwell of Bardstown, and Lloyd Greenwell of Louisville; three sisters, Phyllis Ann White of Boston, Judy Summitt of Bardstown, and Francis Vandusen of Bloomfield; and his fiancée, Nannette Harper of Bardstown.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery at a later date. The Rev. Dixie Kimberlin will officiate.
Visitation is noon-5 p.m. Sunday and 9-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may go toward the funeral services of David Stafford Greenwell, Sr.
