One person injured in early morning rollover crash on Manton Road
Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, 3:45 a.m. — A 25-year-old man was injured early Wednesday morning when the pickup truck he was operating left the roadway and rolled over. The accident happened on Manton Road, about 1/4-mile from its intersection with US150, Springfield Road. Nelson County EMS, police and the Bardstown Fire Department were called to the accident scene. Firefighters had to cut open the doors on the truck in order to access the injured man. Initially the man in the truck said there was a second occupant in the vehicle, and firefighters helped search the area where the vehicle crashed using thermal imaging cameras. No one was located. The accident was reported by a deputy who drove up on the accident about 2:21 a.m.
