Steve Burnham, 54, Bardstown

Steve Burnham, 54, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 5, 1957, in Augusta, Maine. He was a United States Army veteran, a retired construction worker and a member of the Bardstown Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death his parents, Wilbur Keith and Evelyn May Marsden Burnham; and a brother, David Keith Burnham.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Christine Burnham; three sons, Robert Eric Sallee and Joshua Todd Burnham, both of Bardstown, and Cory Hastings of Oakland, Maine; one brother, Michael Lee (Dawn) Burnham of Rome, Maine; one sister, Sandra J. Mitchell (and fiance’, Ron Robinson) of Harmony, Maine; two grandchildren, Trenton Hastings and Carlee Maison Sallee; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at Mann and Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, and 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at Mann and Greenwell Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bardstown Baptist Church Building Fund or the Nelson County Senior Citizens Group.
