Offus Russell Milburn, 88, Chaplin
Offus Russell Milburn, 88, of Chaplin, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville.
He was a native of Washington County, a retired self-employed auto mechanic and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Bloomfield Church of God.
He was the son of the late Tolbert and Maple Hardin Milburn.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Hawthorne Milburn; two daughters, Joanie Case of Shelbyville, and Debbie (Bobby) Spears of Mt. Washington; two sons, Russell Lee (Dana) Milburn of Willisburg, and Marty Ingram of Mt. Eden; eight grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012 at the Houghlin Funeral home in Bloomfield with Brother Billy Compton officiating. Burial will be in Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy in Washington County.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at Houghlin Funeral Home.
