Casie Lynn Sweatt, 19, Taylorsville

Casie Lynn Sweatt, 19, of Taylorsville, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012.

She was a graduate of Bardstown Christian Academy, an avid softball player, and a member of the Babe Ruth Softball Hall of Fame.

She is survived by her parents Gay and Larry Sweatt  of Taylorsville; a brother Clayton Sweatt of Taylorsville; one grandmother, Carrie Jewell of Taylorsville; one grandfather, A.D. Sweatt of McDade Texas; several aunts and uncles and her two best friends, her dogs, Ozzy and Gadget.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at the Open Door Christian Center, formerly Big Spring Assembly of God, with the Rev. Mavis Bennett officiating. Burial is in Highview Cemetery in Chaplin.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield, and 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
