James E. “Jimmy” Henon, 47, of Louisville, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at his home.

Born September 30, 1964, in Marion County, he was a former Medical Coder with Diabetes Care and Education in Louisville. He was a beloved brother, uncle, nephew and friend whose memory will be cherished by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Lee “Bill” Henon, Jr., and Dorothy “Dot” Robey Henon and a brother, William Lee “Johnny” Henon, III.

Survivors include his sister, Patty Henon of Louisville; three brothers, Dewayne (Tammy) Henon, Lynn Henon and Glen Henon, all of Louisville; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Saint Francis, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. R. Joseph Hemmerle will be the celebrant.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, 4895 N. Preston Hwy. in Shepherdsville, and 2-7 p.m. Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Prayers services are 2 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday.
