Dorothy Marie ‘Sissy’ Brammer, 46, New Haven
Dorothy Marie “Sissy” Brammer, 46, of New Haven, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Culvertown. She was born Aug. 7, 1965, in Louisville. She was a cook and waitress before becoming disabled.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Brammer; her stepfather, Ricky Lanham; a twin brother, Michael Edward Brammer; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Mary Jackson Brammer; and maternal grandparents, William Thomas and Minnie Lee Newton Brady.
Survivors include her companion of 20 years, Fabian Linton of New Haven; two sons, Matthew Linton and Jason Linton, both of New Haven; her mother, Dorothy Marie Brady Brammer Lanham of New Haven;
Four brothers, Johnny (Janet) Brammer of New Hope, Charles (Darlene) Brammer of Loretto, Joseph (Matilda) Brammer of Boston, and James Brammer of New Haven; one sister, Lisa (Joseph) Coomes of New Haven; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, in the chapel of the William R. Rust Funeral Home in New Haven with the Rev. Troy Overton officiating.
Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, and 8:30-11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home in New Haven.
