KSP investigating death of shooting victim’s twin as a homicide

Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, 12:05 p.m.  — The twin brother of a New Year’s Eve shooting victim in Bardstown has been identified as the man whose body was found Thursday, Jan. 5th in a Spencer County barn.

On Thursday, a passer-by called police after spotting what looked like a body in a barn on Bowman Lane near its intersection with West River Road. Police found the body of  Daniel D. Cahoe, 34, in the barn. The body had no indentification with it and was identified after an autopsy by the state medical examiner in Louisville.

The Kentucky State Police are investigating the death as a homcide. Anyone with information about about this investigation are asked to contact the KSP Det. Steve Spurlock at the KSP Frankfort Post, (502) 227-2221.
