Carl Lee Chesser, Jr, 51, Boston

Carl Lee Chesser, Jr., 51, of Boston, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at his home. He was born Jan. 3, 1961, in Lebanon. He was a retired farmer from Greenvalley Dairy Farm for 26 years, and a member of Wakefield Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Ann Nalley Chesser.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Martin Chesser of Boston; two daughters, Leeann Chesser of Bardstown, and Dana Ashbaugh of Boston; one son, D.C. Chesser of Bardstown; two brothers, Roy Chesser and Henry Chesser of Bardstown; three sisters, Debbie Martin and Tina Chesser both of Bardstown, and Kaye Curtsinger of Cox’s Creek; his father, Carl Lee Chesser Sr. of Bardstown; and six grandchildren, John Cooper Jr., Jalynn Cooper, Allen Brumley, Skylynn Ashbaugh, Shyanne Ashbaugh, and Mahayla Chesser.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Bardstown Cemetery.  The Rev. Tom Sparrow will officiate.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2012 and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012,  at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go toward the funeral service of Carl Lee Chesser Jr.
