One injured after driver swerves to miss another car on Loretto Rd.

Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, 3:25 p.m. — A 28-year-old woman was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after her car left KY 49, Loretto Road and hit a ditch. The woman told EMTs she swerved to miss another car and ran off the roadway. She was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital by Nelson County EMS complaining of lower back pain and foot pain. The accident happened south of Burba Road about 2:50 p.m.
