Firefighters called to report of smoke in Allender Lane residence
Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, 4:21 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded to 110 Allender Lane in Cox’s Creek for a report of smoke in the residence. Smoke detectors activated, the caller told Nelson County Dispatch. Firefighters found the source of the smoke was a fire in a bedroom. The fire was extinguished and the home was ventilated. The American Red Cross was called to assist the residence with immediate housing needs.
