Fire department called for active water flow alarm at Barton Distillery
Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, 12:47 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called early Thursday morning to the Barton 1792 Distillery, 300 Barton Road, for an active water flow alarm indicated a fire suppression system activation. Firefighters and plant maintenance checked the area where the alarm activated and found nothing. The alarm company was called to inspect and repair the system if necessary. The call to dispatchers came in at about 6:22 Thursday morning. Firefighters were on scene for about 15 minutes.
