Angila Burkhead, 67, Bloomfield
Angila Burkhead, 67, of Bloomfield, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at her home.
She was a native of Nelson County and was the former Angila Terrell She was a former employee of Owens-Illinois, now known as American Fuji-Seal, and a member of the Willisburg Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Pauline Noel Terrell.
Survivors include her husband, William Burkhead Jr.; two sons, Jeff (Bobbi) Burkhead and Greg (Chasity) Burkhead, both of Bloomfield; two daughters, Susan (Barry) Davenport of Bardstown and Carol (Phillip) Dingus of New Tazwell Tenn.; three sisters, Joyce (Dale) Simpson of Chaplin, Linda Kays of Washington and Wanda (Arnell) Malnar of Arkansas; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with burial in Highview Cemetery in Chaplin with Brother Terry Burkhead and Brother Chester Hatton officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012 at Houghlin Funeral Home.
