Mildred Ruth Gordon Bunch, 84, Bloomfield
Mildred Ruth Gordon Bunch, 84, of Bloomfield, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at her residence. She was born April 20, 1927, in Woodlawn. She was a homemaker and a member of Cox’s Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnie Bunch Sr.; three daughters, Frances Garda Allen, Bettye Anne Bunch, and Wanda Ruth Bunch; one granddaughter, Robyn Nicole Nally; four brothers, Elmo Gordon, Harold Gordon, William Gordon, and George Gordon Jr. and three sisters, Bettye Evelyn Gordon, Dorothy Collins, and Margaret Mills.
She is survived by two sons, John E. (Vicki) Bunch Jr. of Bloomfield and Jeffrey Wayne (Barbara) Bunch Sr. of Bardtown; three daughters, Nellie Jean (Maurice) Balkum of Wilmington, Del., Peggy Lynn Nally of Bardstown, and Patsy (Don) Baird of Conroe, Texas; a sister, Anna V. Pile of Bardstown; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchidren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funerail is 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Darrell Goodlett will officiate.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, and 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home.
