CHERRI ANN MUDD TUDOR

Cherri Ann Mudd Tudor, 52, Shelbyville, formerly of Bardstown, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.  She was born June 6, 1959, in Danville, was a 1977 graduate of Bethlehem High School and graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1981.  Cherri was a Kentucky Colonel, a former member and officer of The Business and Professional Women’s Club of Louisville, and an avid UK fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allen Tudor II and a sister, Carol Frances Mudd.

Survivors include her parents, John B. and Alice Johnson Mudd of Bardstown; two sisters, Connie (Gary) Newton of Elizabethtown and Cathy (Bill) Waldschmidt of Bear Wallow, Washington County; two brothers, Mike (Rachel) Mudd of Alpharetta, Ga., and Chris (Lori) Mudd of Bardstown; three nephews, Josh (Graham) Mudd, Jason Newton and Patrick Mudd; two nieces, Catherine Mudd and Christina Mudd; a great-nephew, Jordan Michael Mudd; and Cherri’s beloved dog, Gracie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Hammer will officiate.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday at Mann and Greenwell Funeral Home with an evening prayer service.
