Teen driver suffers minor injuries after car leaves road, strikes tree

Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, 12:25 a.m. — A 17-year-old girl suffered minor injuries after the car she was driving left the road and struck a tree. The accident happened about 10:40 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Plum Run Road. Nelson County EMS transported the teen to Flaget Memorial Hospital with knee and chest pain. The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office investigated the accident.
