Snow ends, hazardous road conditions to continue across county
Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, 11 a.m. — The Winter Storm Warning for Nelson County has been canceled and replaced by a Winter Weather Advisory until 4 p.m. today.
The National Weather Service reports snow in our area has ended and moved into the Lexington and Bluegrass region. Snow-covered roads and below-freezing temperatures will create slick roads and treacherous driving conditions that will continue through the daylight hours, especially on untreated roadways.
Our region may see additional snow flurries this evening, with little or no additional accumulation expected.
