Vickie Marie Ballard Monin, 51, Bardstown

Vickie Marie Ballard Monin, 51, of Bardstown, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at her residence.  She was born Feb. 26, 1960, in Nelson County. She was a 1978 graduate of Bardstown High School and a lifelong homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edwin Monin, Jr.; her parents, Donnie and Bernice Ballard; and her father- in-law, Sonny Monin.

She is survived by two sons, Scott Monin and Tyler Monin, both of Bardstown; a daughter, Tara (Justin) Wash of Radcliff; one grandson, Jordan Wash; two brothers, Barry and Jason Ballard, both of Bardstown; three sisters, Gaye Franke of Bardstown, Char Munns of Lebanon, Ohio, and Darlene Sanchez of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012 at Mann and Greenwell Funeral Home.

Visitation is 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at the funeral home.
