Twin Island Lane mobile home destroyed in Monday night blaze

Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, 1:45 a.m. — The Boston Fire Department was called to the end of Twin Island Lane for a mobile home on fire about 11:20 p.m. Monday night. The first firefighters to arrive reported the mobile home was fully involved in flames. Boston firefighters requested mutual aid from the Bardstown Fire Department in the form of manpower, a pumper truck and tanker. The fire was reported under control about 12:15 a.m. The American Red Cross responded to assist the residents with immediate shelter needs.
