Semi-truck driver uninjured after being shot at on BG Parkway

Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, 1:45 p.m. — A truck driver was uninjured in a early-morning shooting incident that took place near the 17 mile marker in the eastbound lanes of the Blue Grass Parkway. The driver told police the passenger in an older white pickup truck fired several shots at the cab of the semi-truck. The incident happened about 3:30 Tuesday morning. Police found bullet holes in the cab of the semi. Bardstown Police and sheriff’s deputies searched for the suspect vehicle but were unable to locate it.
