Ronald Lee Jennette, Sr., 67, Bardstown

Ronald Lee Jennette, Sr., 67, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

He was a native of Louisville, a self-employed mechanic and a retired employee of Norton-Suburban Hospital in the housekeeping department. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

He was the son of the late Clarence Edward and Clara Hall Jennette and was preceded in death by a grandson; Anthony Farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Powers Jennette; two daughters, Crystal Jennette of Bardstown and Deborah (Steven) Donahue of Louisville; two sons, Ronald L. Jennette Jr. of Bardstown, and Thomas (Shannon) Jennette of Louisville; a sister, Norma (Johnny) Morrison of Louisville; a brother, Clarence (Doris) Jennette of Louisville, 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, at the Greenwell-Houghlin Northside Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at the funeral home.
