Deputy sheriff’s stop to assist motorist turns into a warning

Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, 12:45 a.m. — A deputy sheriff who drove up on a car parked on the side of KY 245 near Templin Avenue about 3:30 Tuesday initially believed the car had mechanical problems. The officer told dispatchers that what he found instead was an elderly gentlemen who was urinating on the side of the road. He reportedly advised the man the next time he needs to use the bathroom to stop inside a business.
