Bardstown Fire respond for natural gas leak in Edgewood subdivision

Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, 1 a.m. – The Bardstown Fire Department was called to the area of 106 Dogwood Dr. for an odor investigation. The caller reported the strong smell of natural gas in the area. Firefighters reported finding a gas leak at the street shutoff valve. A representative from LG&E was asked to respond to the area. Firefighters closed Dogwood Drive until the problem was resolved.
