Iva Ray Nalley, 80, Cedar Creek

Iva Ray Nalley, 80, of Cedar Creek, died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Flaget Memorial Hospital.

She was a Nelson County native amd was born July 17, 1931. She was a member of the First Cedar Creek Baptist Church and retired from the Bardstown Sewing Factory after 25 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lester and Minnie Gertrude Conway White; and three brothers, Kenneth White, Joe White and Elmo White.

Survivors include her husband, William Odell Nalley, Sr., of Cedar Creek; one son, William Odell Nalley, Jr., of Cedar Creek; one brother, Donnie White of Shepherdsville; one sister, Beulah Donnelly of Shepherdsville; and a sister-in-law, Marie Nalley of Bardstown.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012, at First Cedar Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.  Brother Tim Lucas will officiate.

Visitation is 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or The American Heart Association.
