New Haven man dies in early morning single-car crash near E’town

Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, 2 p.m. — A New Haven man died Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash on the Bluegrass Parkway in Hardin County.

According to the Kentucky State Police in Elizabethtown, Glenn Edward Stratton III, 21, died when his 2000 Chrysler 300M left the parkway and struck a guard rail eastbound near the 2 mile marker. The accident happened at 1:04 a.m.

State police were assisted by Hardin County EMS, the Central Hardin Fire Department and the Hardin County Coroner’s Office. The accident is still under investigation.
