Bardstown Fire called Saturday for car fire at Thompson’s Food Mart

Sunday, July 19, 2015, 5 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded Saturday night for a report 
of a car on fire near the gas pumps at Thompson’s Food Mart, 509 West Stephen Foster Ave. Firefighters were dispatched at 9:55 p.m. and reported that the fire was out when they arrived on the scene. The incident commander reported there had been a small fire in the engine compartment. Firefighters were on the scene for about 10 minutes.
