Firefighters respond Saturday for vehicle fire in Kroger’s parking lot

Sunday, April 10, 2016, 2 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called out Saturday afternoon for a vehicle fire in the Kroger parking lot near the gas pumps. Firefighters were dispatched at 3:08 after dispatchers received multiple calls due to the number of vehicles parked in close proximity. The vehicle was fully involved when firefighters arrived. They had the fire under control in less than 10 minutes. They were on the scene for about 45 minutes. No one was injured in the fire.
