According to a press release from the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, Tawny Warren, 36, of Bardstown, was driving her 2014 Chevrolet Cruze north on New Haven Road when she attempted to make a left turn onto Ritchie Lane.
As she began the turn, Warren’s vehicle drove into the path of a 2000 Nissan Maxima driven by Teresa Muncy, 40, of Hodgenville, and the vehicles collided.
The accident happened at about 4:13 p.m.
Warren was treated at the scene by Nelson County EMS and then transported by EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
The crash was investigated by Lt. Kaelen Matthews of the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office.
