Election 2026: This evening’s sheriff, judge-executive debates moved to Nelson County Public Library

Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026 — The locations for Wednesday evening’s political debates for Nelson County Sheriff and Nelson County Judge-Executive have been moved.

The debates begin at 6 p.m. amd will take place in the large meeting room at the Bardstown branch of the Nelson County Public Library.

Sheriff candidates A.J. Lewis and Jarren Culver, and Judge-Executive candidates Tim Hutchins and J.T. Roby will face off in a pair of debates at the library.

The debates will be livestreamed on the WBRT Radio Facebook page and broadcast live on WBRT AM 1320, FM 97.1 and 94.9.

The public is invited to attend.

In addition to the Facebook Live livestream, video of the debate will be recorded for viewing at users’ convenience on YouTube.
