Obituary: Diane Lewis, 70, Bardstown

Diane Lewis, 70, of Bardstown, died Thursday, May 16, 2019, at her home. She was born Nov. 22, 1948, in Louisville. She was a retired United States Postal Service rural mail carrier.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Freeman Lewis; and her parents, Cecil and Nadine Leathers.

She is survived by one daughter, Angela (Jay) Smith of Bardstown; two sisters, Judy (Tommy) Hunt of Bowling Green; and Brenda (Terry) Broaddus of Bloomfield; four grandchildren, Michael Smith, Brooke Smith, Robert Smith and Matthew Smith; three great-grandchildren, Desmin Smith, Lydia Smith and Emma Smith; and several nieces and one nephew.

Visitation is 2-7 p.m. Saturday, Maty 18, 2019, at Barlow Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

A private inurment in Maple Grove Cemetery will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may go to Humane Society of Nelson County.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
