Ohio woman injured in single-vehicle Bluegrass Parkway accident

Friday, July 19, 2019 –– An Ohio woman was injured Thursday in a single-vehicle crash near the 16 mile marker of the Bluegrass Parkway.

The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office and Nelson County EMS were dispatched at about 2:03 p.m. for an injury accident with the vehicle off the roadway.

According to police, Bailey Rowe, of Ohio, was eastbound on the parkway when her vehicle left the roadway and went up an embankment. She was treated at the scene by Nelson County EMS and transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of a possible back injury.

Deputy Jerry Hardin investigated the accident.
