Wednesday, May 11, 2016 — The Barton 1792 Distillery will beginning preparations this month for a $2.3 million project to improve management of 
odor control at the distillery.
On May 16, 2016, the distillery will begin dredging to remove sludge from its wastewater pretreatment lagoons. The sludge removal will take approximately four weeks. Dredging will minimize process-related odors, and is necessary in order work in preparation of the lagoon upgrade.
