3 NCHS seniors arrested Friday at school for public intoxication

Monday, May 23, 2011, 11 a.m. — Three Nelson County High School seniors were arrested at school on Friday and charged for being intoxicated at school.

Katherine M. Shaffery, Anna Elizabeth Tinnell, and Elizabeth Danielle Cecil, all 18 and seniors at the school, were arrested Friday and taken to the Nelson County Jail. Each faces one charge of alcohol intoxication in a public place. The charge is a violation, which means the three were cited and will have a court date at Nelson County District Court.
