Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, 6:30 p.m. — Rhonda Hagan, mayor of the City of Bloomfield, filed her paperwork Wednesday to seek re-election. Hagan, a former Bloomfield council member, is completing her first term as mayor. She won by a landslide in 2010 over then-Mayor Ronnie Bobblett.
Incumbent Bardstown City Councilman Joe Buckman filed for re-election on Thursday. So far nine candidates have filed for the council’s six seats.
Incumbent Fairfield City Commissioner Faye Clayton filed for re-election Thursday. She is the second incumbent commissioner to file for office.
The filing deadline for the November ballot is 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12.
