Albert Randall Shewmaker, 82, of Bardstown, died Sunday, May 27, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born July 27, 1929, in Woodlawn, retired from Owens-Illinois as an electrician and mechanic. His hobbies included antiques and woodworking. He was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Will Turner Shewmaker and Anna Lucille Janes Shewmaker; one sister, Lucille Stewart; and three brothers, Leroy Shewmaker, Jimmy Shewmaker, and Guy Shewmaker.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beulah Mae Stone Shewmaker of Bardstown; one son, William Randall Shewmaker and his wife Lynn Shewmaker of Bloomfield; one daughter, Saundra Lucille Noe and her husband Fred Noe; three grandchildren, Freddie Noe, Krista Shewmaker Durbin, and Linsey Ann Shewmaker, all of Barsdtown; one great-grandchild, Jamie Alan Durbin of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a private memorial service at a later date. Memorial contributions may go to First Christian Church (D.O.C.).
