Allen Road in Boston area to close for culvert replacement on Tuesday, Oct. 23

Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 — The Nelson County Road Department will close Allen Road at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, and continuing through mid-afternoon the same day.

According to a press release, Lee Mattingly, the assistant road supervisor, said the road must be closed for replacement of the culvert and repair of the roadway. Mattingly said the work will be done Tuesday in time for school traffic that afternoon.

Allen Road is located off Lick Creek Lane east of Boston.
