Anna Charleen Thompson, 76, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Nov. 05,
2013, at Colonial Health and Rehab. She was born June 7, 1937, in Bardstown. She was the owner/manager of Bluegrass Tavern for 34 years and was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lawrence Thompson; her parents, John and Elsie Cecil Rogers; one sister, Joyce Sullivan; and two brothers, Eddie Rogers and Julian Rogers.
She is survived by one daughter, Stephanie (Toby) White of Louisville; and three brothers, John (Pat) Rogers of Louisville, Keith (Ruth) Rogers and Irvin (Sue) Rogers both of Bardstown.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at St. Thomas Catholic Church with the Rev. Jeff Hopper as celebrant.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, and 8-10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with prayers Friday at 7 p.m.
Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
