Bardstown City Council will appoint new mayor at special Tuesday meeting

Monday, April 17, 2017 — The Bardstown City Council will conduct a special meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017, to appoint the next mayor. The new mayor will serve out the unexpired timer of former Mayor John Royalty, who was removed after a two-day hearing last Thursday.

The new mayor will be sworn-in, and the agenda notes the new mayor and council will release a statement, followed by adjournment.
