complaint alleging the man took a purse and someone’s car without authorization.
Nelson County Dispatch received a call at about 11:34 p.m. Saturday that John Wesley Jackson, 44, of Bardstown, had taken a woman’s purse and gold Chrysler Sebring without authorization. The car was last seen leaving the Tunnel Mill Road area, possibly heading to the subdivision behind Dairy Queen.
Bardstown Police Officer Brad Gillock spotted the car on McGowan and conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Butler and Kenton Drive. As Gillock approached the vehicle, Jackson sped away.
