Tuesday, March 4, 2014, 9 a.m. — The American Red Cross has issued an urgent appeal for blood donations. Recent bouts of inclement weather have canceled a number of important blood drives, making the need for more donations even more important.
The next American Red Cross blood drive is set for 8:30 a.m. t0 1 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014, at the parish center at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 330 Samuels Loop, Cox’s Creek, Ky., just off KY 245.
