Monday, July 23, 2018 — The sale of 2017 delinquent property taxes for Nelson County will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018, in the Land Records Department (Nelson County Clerk’s downstairs office).
Anyone whose taxes are on that list may make payment at any time before 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2018.
NO PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THAT TIME.
Payments MUST be made with a cashiers’ check or cash — personal checks or credit cards WILL NOT be accepted as payment.
The Land Records Dept. will be closed to regular business from 8 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Thursday. The Motor Vehicle and Elections offices will be open for business as usual.
