Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, 3:45 p.m. — Kathy Reed and Jennifer H. Shrewsbury, both sitting members of the Bardstown 
Independent Schools board of education, filed Friday afternoon for re-election. They join incumbent board member James R. Roby, who filed his candidacy paperwork June 6.
Two members of the Bloomfield City Council have also filed candidate paperwork to be on the November ballot. Denny Howard and and Laura Barnett both filed Friday afternoon as candidates for one of the council’s six seats.
The deadline for the nonpartisan city and county races is 4 p.m. next Tuesday.
