Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, 9:50 p.m. – The Feeding America food distribution will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014 at the Nelson County Fairgrounds.
According to a press release from Nelson County Judge Executive Dean Watts’ office, the seniors’ box distribution will be limited to the “active” original list. Over the past few months, we have had extra seniors’ boxes but will not this month. We should have food for those seniors through the regular distribution.

The Feeding America food distribution program is for anyone low-income and in need. Please bring proof of residence, the number of people in the household and an ID.
