Harry ‘Scott’ Hurst, 52, Bardstown

Harry “Scott” Hurst, 52, of Bardstown, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, at his home. He was born Nov. 8, 1960, in Nelson County. He was a self employed farmer and a member of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his parents, Harry and Laura Shelburne Hurst; three sisters, Marie (Larry) Hurst Rogers and Laura Anne Hurst, both of Cox’s Creek and Kaye (Bill) Hurst Whitehead of Muncy, Ind.; one brother, Christopher “Chris” (Tracy) Hurst of Cox’s Creek; nieces and nephews Eugene Whitehead, Lucille Whitehead, Harry Rossoll, Laura Leigh Rossoll, Benjamin Rossoll, Thomas Earl Rogers, Christopher Hurst, Mimi Hurst, Samuel Hurst; and one great-nephew William Whitehead.

The funeral is 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Hammer will be the celebrant.

Visitation is noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013 at the funeral home.

Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
