Howard Douglas “H.D.” Campbell, 94, of Bardstown, died Friday, June 1, 2012, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. He was born Jan. 30, 1918, in Bath County. He was a longtime salesman of farm equipment for Grigsby and Company in Bardstown, and was a Mason, Duval Lodge # 6.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Martha Campbell of Bardstown; one daughter, Bonnie Campbell Grant of Bardstown; two sons, Stephen Douglas Campbell of Bardstown and Philip Howard Campbell and his wife Monica Campbell of Lexington; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Bardstown Cemetery with the Rev. Dixie Kimberlin officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012, ant 10-11 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2012 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go to Hospice of Nelson County.
