Tuesday, March 11, 2014, 1:58 p.m. — Nelson County can anticipate high 
winds throughout the day Wednesday with wind gusts topping 35 mph expected.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday in Nelson County. Wind are expected to arrive in the area early Wednesday, with winds tapering off by evening.
A wind advisory means sustained winds of 30-39 mph are possible, with gusts up to 57 mph possible. The winds can cause driving problems for high-profile vehicles as well, blow down tree limbs and branches, and blow over loose objects outside.
